The winter time can be pretty special for sunsets, and I enjoyed this one in Wales last week! My trip south finished off with a little shoot in Yorkshire yesterday and now i'm back in Edinburgh to catch up with the edits. #sunset #landscapephotography #wales #goldenhour
So this is my latest little video project. For anyone considering yoga as a way of calming the inner mind, giving your body some time and appreciation, stretching out muscles, or simply meeting great people... I would strongly recommend you give it ago. Perhaps this will tempt your curiosity.
The team at East Side Yoga are brilliant, and we had a great time shooting this brand video. I filmed everything hand...
Out and about for four nights of LVIA night photography this week in Newcastle - it's too bad I can't teleport myself between locations, however I'll take consecutive days of suitable weather! Love these crisp nights where the air is so clear :)
Enjoyed another venture south to film Lingo24's 'Global First' event in London. I enjoyed two very interesting speakers and gathered some nice content from that man Christian Arno and guests. As beautiful as Edinburgh is, little gigs like these are always a welcome day out.
Then it was back up the road to process the footage, prepare for another couple of projects that have appeared for next week, and finish...
Yesterday's gig had a pretty Scottish feel about it! Here's a couple of images from a kiltwear shoot we did at the Royal College of Physicians (some venue that is by the way...!). I worked with both natural and studio lights, and was even granted permission for a cheeky drone flight indoors to compliment some video work we were shooting. Thanks to all who helped out!
Despite some lovely blue sky days, the haze had me returning for more photographs on the Kintyre peninsula last week. Nevertheless, it is always nice to be working in this part of the world, and it looks like i'll back out there again before the weekend!
You can't really go wrong when it comes to landscape photography and Iceland; the colours and scenery are out of this world! I've been catching up with the editing from last months trip and came across this from the second day on the Laugavegur trail. Does anyone want to send me back? :)
I can't remember ever visiting the Isle of Arran in conditions like this - it was absolutely glorious to be out taking LVIA photography last weekend! Another one just like this will be great to finish things off, please! :D
The start of September took me back to Iceland with slightly too much photography kit (it's a habit of nature!). We trekked the Laugavegur Trail for four days, before adding a 5th leg downt to Skogar. The resulting views were simply staggering - endless folds of colour interspersed with brilliant green patches of moss, to the lunar landscape atop of the Eyjafjallajökull volcano! I had a field day that teste...
Enjoyed shooting some flows with the team at Eastside Yoga on Saturday morning. Working around ten moving bodies with a heavy gimbal and camera for an hour and a half was as much a workout for me as it was for them! Many thanks guys - we all bossed it :).
Now to piece it all together into that lovely story.
