The drone that got away o'er Dunnottar Castle

Chance is a great opportunity. On boxing day - one of the few days of the year Donnottar Castle is closed to the public (drone flights allowed overhead :)) - the weather was stunning. I got some lovely shots in front of a setting sun, and before the fingers froze!

The perspective changes you can create by simply focusing the camera on a point of interest, then flying away and lowering/increasing altitude can lead to some amazing results.

Looks like i'm turning into a bit of a castle nerd, but i'm not...they are just amazing to film!
